An abused skill doesn't mean consets are wrong. Nerfing the skills was the way forward. Its their fault for leaving it so long before 'fixing' the skill.

Anyways it doesn't matter. Lets focus on the quests.

I wonder what the next one is going to be like?

It took me three attempts to do the second quest. I'm not familiar with the Underworld, very little knowledge of what critters are in there or what they throw at you. But it wasn't hard by the third attempt.

If I think back to the early days of GW, I probably spent at least 10x more time trying to do the Thunderhead Keep mission. Really, this was NOTHING by comparison.

Whoa, slow down there cowboy, I haven't heard anyone say they are shutting it down - most are expecting a major overhaul. It is also possible they are doing a lore bridge to GW 2, but shutting it down is very unlikely.

Lore bridge towards GW2 sounds good aswell afterall were protecting the underworld and claiming it for Grenth though contradicting the fate of the area by making Dhuum stronger, the more we abuse the more quicker he'll be back lol.
So that means there is most likly going to be some significant change in the story between Grenth and Dhuum which will could have huge consequences for GW2s underworld

I did the second quest two times now, hardly had any trouble. First run was 26 mins, second run was 20 minutes (and I stopped to take some screenshots). Pits is not that hard imo, but I can understand why people are having trouble with it. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

I'm curious if the next quest will require the Phantasmal Tonics we received as a reward for this last quest...

A stack of ecto's on it that we will need them...........

Probably something to do with playing as a Reaper of the INSERT, recruiting an army of baddies to fight Dhuum.

Looks fun, but I'm not even trying it because I know that lag or rubberbanding will kill me somewhere along the way on a day with frequent >5k ping spikes. I'd rather do stuff with H/H because at least they can fight through lag.

Bummer that ANet's hardware and dev teams didn't check in with each other to make sure their goals were compatible.

At this point, I'm not selling anything I get as a reward from these quests until the chain is finished.

I'm not gonna try this one again unless there are coop quests later on in the quest chain. After again being rubberbanded the 2nd try and hexed to death the 3rd, I'm not gonna do it again.

Yeah, lag is a nightmare - especially given how close some of the mobs are and how jagged the walls are in some areas (easy to get hung up while wall-hugging). I guess I just got lucky on my run, as I had no issues with lag, and normally I do.

My point was'nt that people should L2P, but that speed clears, the use of consets etc etc drives a certain sort of play style that is habit forming. Then when something comes along that can't be done in the habitual way it comes as somewhat as a surprise.

Anway..I hope there are some group quests to come, solo ones are nice, but I would like to have some being group based.

Ironic that you say that I used essence and candy for quest #2, took 18 mins.

I rubberbanded into the lovely dead threshers and dead collectors, so I know exactly where you're coming from.

I did that quest in my second try. It took me 36 minutes. I should did that quest in first time, but i thought kd skill makes 1 second knock-down, not 10, so i lost all my energy near last group of bone pits mobs while i was on back way. ~~ Quest is ok if we are talking about lore, but can be frustrating and annoying in mechanic, especially the bone pits part.

Or we could still need the transmogifiers tonics, since we needed them to get in the first quest. Just a guess

I do hope the final reward is something nice. Anything that isn't a minipet is good in my book.

Sooo, anyone standing around in toa america1 telling all the UWSC'ers to stop or they'll unleash Dhuum?! Or people urging them on so he's freed sooner and we get to fight him .

If we're really going to need the phantasmal tonics for the next quest the people who already used them after getting them as the reward will kick themselves since there's no other way to get them at the moment. Prices will skyrocket even more than the transmogries.
